Meet Chelsea.

Chelsea Keane
Running + Training + Wellness

My love for running began in second grade, when my teacher took us out twice a week to run laps in the park. At twelve years old, I began running in local races, and in high school enjoyed a couple of years junior varsity competing. I continued to run for fitness and enjoyment through my twenties and thirties. After moving to The Woodlands in 2018, I was inspired to race again, and ran my first half marathon in 2019. Since then, I've run five marathons, several half marathons, and various other races from 5k-10 milers.

As a coach, one of the most fulfilling things is to help runners meet and even surpass their goals. Seeing a new runner complete (and enjoy) their first 5k is an inspiring moment. I enjoy supporting beginners through their running experience, as they realize they Can do it... and have potential to do so much more than they thought they could.

My coaching approach is kind, yet firm. We will have fun, but will go to the edge, and then push a little bit further. It is here, out of the comfort zone, that change takes place. We will look at all components of training- from your efforts on road or trail, to lifestyle, schedule, life obligations and other aspects that could affect your goals and overall wellness.

I am also a personal development coach, national board certified wellness coach, and certified personal trainer. Prior to motherhood, I owned a business for 16 years as a sports massage therapist and yoga instructor, specializing in working along with physical therapists to provide postural corrections, enhance recovery, and manage injuries.
